Admittedly I wasn't expecting a top-shelf title, but boy-o-boy was thisan ordinary movie. I think it's fair to say that after about the first5-10 minutes of any movie, you can pretty much gauge what kind ofquality you're in for & with this one I was filled with dread afterabout 2 minutes.
The movie is a stinker, with Nicholle Thom pretty much the only personwho does a reasonable job of acting. The plot could've beeninteresting, but was destroyed by a shonky support cast & someSwiss-cheese treatment (i.e. holes everywhere).
Wasn't the worst movie I've ever sat through, but it's not far off.I'll be forgetting this one in a real hurry.....I hope.
I want back the hour and a half that I spent watching this film!
After reading the storyline I looked forward to a film that I thoughtwould be reminiscent of Sybil (one of my favourite films of the era)but I was bitterly disappointed. The only similarity is that onecharacter has multiple personalities, oh and for a film made in 2010there was enough cheese to make a 70's fondue! The story is about awoman's visit to her husbands home-town and his brother to find outmore about her husbands past as he has tried to commit suicide. I spentthe film waiting for some sort of surprise or twist but there wasneither. The acting was truly awful and the actors looked like theywere reading from cue cards. Anyway, I'm glad to be home and off towatch another film on DVD to take the bad taste out of my mouth!
