First of all I must say this is a B movie, so you shouldn't expectmiracles from it. Here are the minuses according to me: - the plot ispredictable from the start - the accents sounds fake - we didn't seethe battle between Turbo and Boyka (we can see it eventually inUndisputed 4) The pluses: - awesome fight's - the acting is OK Uh, wellI guess that is the good things, but they are enough for a goodentertainment. After I watched this I am sure of one thing. ScottAdkins should get more work. The action scenes are pretty good and heis the main reason for that. Hopefully we see him in more movies. LikeI said, Boyka delivers redemption in this one.
User: nickrunsPlease don't dismiss this movie because it doesn't have some big nameactor in it. Fans of the trilogy will surely tell you that UndisputedII and III are far better films than the first. Scott Adkins returns asUri Boyka and his martial arts moves are top notch. The prison fightsare intense and the acting credible. This movie is what you paid for, straight forward action with little filler. This is not your averagedirect to video action flick this is the real deal! Look out for ScottAdkins because he's definitely got some talent and he looks a littlelike Ben Affleck only with acting skills. Make sure you watchUndisputed II first for the full experience and to see Michael JaiWhite kick butt.
User: Mark ChaddertonI didn't expect much from this movie being the third one and classed asa B movie, but i have to say if you like one and two and you loveaction/fighting movies this is top notch. The acting isn't the best inthe world, but action movies never are, Boyka is awesome and this is myfavourite action movie for a while by far.
I know he was the bad guy type in number 2, but you soon warm to himhere, it is a bit predictable. I think there will be a 4th installmenttoo and ill be waiting for it.
A good fun action movie with quality fighting scenes, blood, corruptionand a mean Russian :)
"Undisputed III: Redemption" is just as well made as the 2nd one.
Boyka (Adkins) is still in jail after the fight with Chambers (playedby Michael Jai White). Chambers destroyed his knee. All Boyka wants todo is fight again. "I am the most complete fighter." he keeps tellinghimself.
Luckily, there is a new ultimate fighting tournament in Russia, calledthe "Prison Spetz Competition": where they get the best fighters in thecountry to fight for their freedom. It is run by the corrupt guards ofthe prison and the mob.
Boyka is desperate to get in and after he barely beats a fellowprisoner, he is let into the competition...but the guards and the mobhave rigged the event for the dangerous Colombian fighter to win andBoyka to lose.
Can Boyka win the tournament against all the odds? The best parts ofthe movie are the fighting sequences. They are excellentlychoreographed and brutal.
You can almost feel every punch and kick, because this is apunch-fighting movie, the plot is basically predictable and some of theacting is amateurish.
Scott Adkins' fighting skills are amazing in this. He executes one kicktowards the end that is just devastating.
"Undisputed III" is one of the best DTV fighting movies in a long timeand i definitely recommend it.

Everybody's favorite bad guy from Undisputed II returns. Yuri Boyka(Scott Adkins) is a disgraced, disabled former champion prison fighter, having had his right leg broken by George 'Iceman' Chambers (MichaelJai White) in a Russian prison.
Boyka learns of an international prison tournament (SPC) and enters toregain his honor and prove himself as the 'most complete fighter'.
Adkins once again animates the character with his energetic, acrobaticmartial art stunts. But this time the role of the character is justmore of a fighter. Boyka (Adkins) has learned a lot in his defeat andhumiliation what it means to be a true champion.
With a movie from direct-to-DVD kings Nu Image/Millennium Pictures, youknow that you'll at least get good production values. When one of theirmovies has Isaac Florentine as the director, you know you are going toget some spectacular action sequences. Needless to say, "UndisputedIII" has both of those things. I will admit that the script is prettystandard for this kind of thing - we never really get into the head ofthe protagonist and learn what is driving him, the bad guys also haveno real personality, and how a couple of the characters managed to gettogether in the last few minutes of the movie is never explained. Butwe don't watch movies like this primarily for the writing. We watchthem because we want some good action, and this movie without doubt hasthat. The fights are really spectacular, with Florentine using aperfect combination of expert choreography, good direction (the camerasteps back enough so we see all of the fighters in the fights), andoccasional and effective use of slow motion. I've enjoyed all the"Undisputed" movies, and if they make a fourth entry in the series,I'll definitely be there.
User: Alexander KiniaevSo, I'm here writing and deleting all the time because I can't find thewords to express my enthusiasm over this film.. Yes, it's not yourtypical drama with an extraordinary plot or character development butfor a movie that had a low budget and was so under the radar itdelivered, and delivered really really really good.
Scott Adkins deserves more credit and more film deals, because not onlyhe's an amazing fighter/stuntman, he's also a pretty damn good actor asopposed to other "fighters" making movies (I won't point fingers, butthere's a guy always whispers in movies)..
Bottom line is : Choreography is great, fight scenes are great, plot isreally good, acting is really good.. You should definitely check outthis movie, no doubt.. if you liked Undisputed 2 you're going to lovethis..
PS : Someone write a screenplay for Undisputed 4 please :P
I am not going to say too much about the movie because I don't want topresent any "spoilers," but I have to say this is one of the top actionmovies out, although very under the radar.
I first watched Undisputed I without ever knowing what it was, just sawit lying around at my friends house and watched it. It caught mecompletely off guard. Then I watched the second and I just finished thethird. It seems like as far as the plots and action sequences go, theykeep getting better. The fighting moves or sequences they perform inthis movie are crazy! One of the main reasons I love this film. Thealso, completely capture what Americans think of when we think of aRussian prison. Very accurate to what I picture in my mind.
The acting is rather good in this movie, in my opinion. Sure there aresome cheesy comments but every movie has them. My only wish is thatthey would put Jason Statham in one of these movies. But I have to sayI was more than pleased that they brought Boyka back to fight, since helost in the last movie.
Overall, very good movie if you are into movies like Bloodsport, orKickboxer. I LOVED Bloodsport, and I was impressed how they copiedBloodsport as far as how the movie was set up, but was still socreative about the actual story line. Didn't take a ton of specialeffects and sex scenes to make it a great movie, the fighting was justphenomenal.
So, let me start off by saying Scott Adkins is a pretty good actor anda damn good entertainer. He goes from being the partial pure fightingvillain in the second to the star of the third. He copes with hishyper-extended knee very well might I say. Anyways, this movie was thebest yet. The fight scenes were incredible and there was actually adecent plot. I hope there is a fourth and if there is Scott Adkins damnsure better be in it.
Way better than Tony Jaa and Ong Bak!
(I can't say better than Jackie or Lee because they're pure legacy andgreat BUT I can say Scott needs more roles. The guys amazing.)
Undisputed III is just one more reason to love the Undisputedfranchise. These films just keep on getting better and better. Sure thefirst one in the series was a little slow, but it was worth it just sothat III could come into existence.
The plot is way above average, bordering on pretty good; so that meansalmost all the way to freaking amazing, as far as fight movies go. Thechoreography is unmatched and if you were impressed by Undisputed II,then III will blow you away. It's also worthwhile mentioning that thereis a much wider mix of Martial Arts, the Greek guy; I'll say no more!As usual you follow that fellow you loved to hate from the lastUndisputed. Yep sports-fans, the man who needs no introduction... ScottAdkins and boy does Boyka deliver.
The team that worked on this film did a great job once more redeeming alost soul; classic Villain becomes Hero. And it's worked every time, however there are some slight deviations from the original formula, butit's for the best and i don't plan on ruining that for you, so you'llhave to see it for yourselves.
If you're looking for a fun film, with breath-taking action sequencesand some good-old-fashioned ass kicking... Ladies and gentlemen,Undisputed III!
Scott Adkins is bad ass here. This role gets him well, better thenfancy good boy from Ninja. He is turned from the villain of theUndisputed II to the flawed and angry main character of this one. Youwill enjoy him and supporting actors; Mykel Shannon Jenkins aka Turboand Mark Ivanir as Gaga.
For once, not the average crap of usual action movie "alone against theworld". This time, you are spared of usual "my brother died", or "I amin prison for wrong reason". All characters are flawed like in reallife. I didn't yawn during dialogue or didn't for one moment seem theaction come to stale. This is a packed with action movie about aninternational prison mma tournament.
Fighting scenes are superb done for a low budged movie made in postcommunist industrial bankruptcy of Eastern Europe.
All in all a good movie, good script , decent acting and again superbfights. Unexpected well done : 7/10.
Back with a bang. I just saw it and loved it all. I wasn't so sure thatit will be as good as the second installment but i think it is as good. And the action is a lot better. The acting is okay even with all thosefalse accent:D. The movie is a must see for all the action fans andespecially for all those who liked the previous installment in theseries. Scott Adkins kicks butt with one knee. All the fight sequencesare well made. The villain is a good one who looks to tower over Boyka.Thumbs up as it is good for action. Don't expect any Oscar worthystoryline though. Go see it if you are a martial arts fan as there isno wire action and pretty good if you consider that.
User: K KThis movie was a complete entertainer; I haven't seen the first twoparts but this part was surely something! No doubt the MMA fightingskills of the characters were real time and no strings attached; yes Imean no strings attached.
The story may be considered on the lines of "condemned", but withnoteworthy differences and twists, I would say the director "IsaacFlorentine" and his special effects team has done a marvelous job withthe fight sequences, story line and characters in hand.
I would suggest everyone should give this movie a try and I am sureeverybody would like it, even if you are not into combat and sparring. This movie is a must watch for people who are into combat andself-defense.
