    Seth does it again!

Seth Macfarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy is actually pretty good!Ignore the negative review on here! This cute show takes a mildlyinteresting spin on certain clips that we see on Seth's other showslike Family Guy and American Dad. I find absolutely nothing crappyabout these clips at all, and I find a certain number of them amusing. Some clips I enjoy are the Super Mario one, the two ducks one, theGhost of Christmas Past one, the dog on the $25,000 Pyramid one, BarryGibb on a roller coaster one, the backstage with Bob Dylan one, and theFlintstone one. Seth Macfarlane just never ceases to amuse cartoonfans! This web show is a must see!

    Vulgar and unfunny

I would never pay for such a thing. The gags are not even funny. Someof the clips are just characters giving their opinions on old movies.
Sorry Seth, there are enough critics on the web, I don't need to knowwhich movies you didn't like when you were a teenager in the 80's.
You are trying to sell this junk by saying it's more vulgar than FamilyGuy. But, vulgarity doesn't mean funny at all. There's got to besomething more than that.
I am really glad that I didn't pay for this trash. And we really don'tneed to know your opinion about everything. If you absolutely need togive it anyway, try to do it in a funny way.

funny or funniest ? Seth MacFarlanes Cavalcade

Seth MacFarlanes Cavalcade. Well what can I say it's Seth MacFarlane, acomedic genius for todays and yesterdays generation people who don'tfind his sense of Humour funny, don't have one.
These clips are what lots of people are thinking but no one has saidaloud.
These ideas, and i say ideas as they are not beliefs, could make thenext big thing in cartoon animation, for no real person has the ballsto say it.
If your still unsure if you would like this show? "Family Guy" (127episodes, 1999-2009) "American Dad!" (79 episodes, 2005-2009)
If you enjoyed just 1 episode of these than his humour is for you and Iwould recommend this for you

    I really miss the mystery

I actually could not agree more. I find the you tube clips funniersince they are not as apparently offensive as the DVD versions. E.g."Haha! Douchebags!" is way more funnier than "Haha! Assholes" (whichisn't that funny at all). I am a huge fan of Family Guy and AmericanDad but Cavalcade took away all the mystery. It is equivalent toCartman getting away with all his profanity. It just wouldn't be asfunny. Now don't get me wrong, I laughed out loud at several occasionsduring Cavalcade but I never felt that subtle "spark". This has made merealize that networks actually can make a comedy series "better" onlyby being restricted to government influences.
But, would I buy the DVD? I would most definitely do.

Dumbest thing I've ever tried to watch

The entire thing is either "Sex with a ________" (fill in the blankwith whatever immature, idiotic thing you can think of), or penis, feces, and fart jokes. That about sums up the entire thing. I couldn'teven watch it. In fact, I don't even think I like Family Guy anymore.Seth is just a sick, retarded individual. I actually feel sorry for himnow. I really thought it might be funny, but it just isn't. I'velaughed at some of the jokes in Family Guy, but it's now just soobvious that Seth just sits around thinking up very childish and crudethings pretty much constantly. It's amazing that he's even capable ofdoing anything else. I'd rate this way below pathetic, if it werepossible. I really tried to watch it, but it's so far beneath me, itwas just impossible. If you think a complete lack of decency anddignity is always funny, then you'll love this. To anyone who has halfa brain, I'd advise you not to waste your time on this one. You've beenwarned.

I'm glad it was only $5

Do not get me wrong, I am a huge Family Guy fan but this DVD of randomcrap seth macfarlane slapped together was complete garbage. Granted, itdid have a very small number of hilarious sketches but all in all thesketches were terribly unfunny. Had I payed more than $5 for this moviethat i found floating in the 'bargain bin' at walmart, I would havebeen very upset, (especially since you can't return opened DVDs towalmart for a cash refund) but alas it was only $5 and a small periodof my life wasted that I will never get back which I guess isn't toobad. I just felt compelled to warn other Family Guy fans to steer clearof this DVD.

    Stupid cartoon

Very stupid show, with stupid and unlikeable characters. I just can'tsee why so many people like this show, it is easily one of the worstshows ever made, along with "Mystery Science Teather 3000" and "HouseM.D." What is so great about this stupid show? It was a complete wasteof time, from beginning to end.
The cultural references were lame, most of the jokes were unfunny andoffensive, and all about this show sucked.
This show is worthless. I only saw some episodes of this trash and Ihated them.
What happened with good, clean comedies like "El Chavo del Ocho"? Thisshow is a dirty shame.

    I almost died laughing!

Seth MacFarland proves that he's still on top with this laugh fest. Iwas forced to watch this and from the minute it started I knew I was infor something. Some of the jokes were really disgusting and stupid butI forget about them easily. Who can forget The Frog Prince or The GayKnight? It's like Monty Python's Flying Circus and And Now ForSomething Completely Different and I would compare them all. This is anoutrageous watch. Some may find it offensive but those not so touchywill be more entertained. It is offensive to anything and everyone andsome of the stuff you won't believe they did but it's still enjoyable.I'm only giving it a 10 out of 10 because more than half the sketcheshad me in stitches otherwise I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Anyways give ita viewing. It's really worth it. But don't say I didn't warn you aboutthe vulgar and offensive jokes.

    Vulgar Humor Delivers Nothing New

In the world of animated comedy, Seth MacFarlane is probably thebusiest at the moment. Not only is he behind three prime-time shows(Family Guy, American Dad, The Cleveland Show) he also does voice workfor 'Robot Chicken' (the side-project of his 'Family Guy' cast-mateSeth Green).
While the title of the 'Cavalcade' may sound old-fashioned, its humoris anything but. The 'Cavalcade' was originally broadcast in 2008 in anonline format. Away from commercial pressures, Seth uses this freedomto deliver sketches with an abundance of swearing, violence, sexscenes/references and gross-out moments, as well as the usualpop-culture reference (The Flinstones, Super Mario Bros, Looney Tunes,as well as a number of eighties movies) and you get the feeling it'ssomething he wanted to do. The style of humor is far more vulgar thanFamily Guy, and at times seems there purely for shock value, lackingthe cleverness (and nostalgia value) of 'Robot Chicken'. The problemis, in a society desensitized to all but the most explicit content,it's hard to get away with shock value for the sake of it. Most of thepunchlines tend to be fairly predictable (a depressed Wile E. Coyoteturns to Jesus, a horse in a bar is actually Sarah Jessica Parker,Helena Bonham Carter is mistaken for a corpse).
It's fair to say this collection could even pass as a montage of'Family Guy' cut-away gags, especially with a lot of 'Family Guy' voicetalent (including MacFarlane, Alex Borstein and Green, with guestappearances from Gilbert Gottfried and Will Wheadon, both playingthemselves). Gottfried's performance is a highlight, willingly takingthe mickey out of himself, loudly proclaiming that he was the parrot inAladdin.
Overall, 'Cavalcade' is not one of Seth MacFarlane's best works. Whileyou can appreciate it is a passion project for him, fans of hisprevious work have seen it all before (or variants of it) and thereliance on shock value doesn't have the same impact.

    Over the top Vulgar

This is honestly Seth MacFarlane's attempt at trying to keep his namealive in the pop culture world. He has launched American Dad and therecently upcoming Cleveland Show from his success with Family Guy.Mainly his reasoning is due to Family Guy becoming somewhat not asfunny lately. The show is really attempting too hard with episodes thatparody Stephen King movies. Anyway Seth released this on DVD, statingthat it was more vulgar than Family Guy. Now I do think that somevulgar material, if done right, can be funny. This on the other handwas over the top vulgar and didn't appear that funny. The skits werejust random. Some were partially humorous, but for the most part I feltthat he was trying to grab the shock value from the audience by havinga gay Candadian flight attendant screw a Monkey from Africa. Some werejust honestly pointless.

    Not or everybody...

I have read many reviews of this title and concluded that you willeither love most of the skits or hate them all.
If you are not thick-skinned, not dirty-minded and are offended easily,do not watch this title. It IS very vulgar, but personally I can seethrough it to appreciate the sense of humor.
The skits range from multiple "Sex with ________" skits to a sheepREALLY enjoying being sheered (shorn) {watch it and you'll see whatthat's about} Do not let the kids watch this.
If I haven't scared you off, I also recommend watching it in 20 minuteincrements. All of the skits have the feel of Family Guy when they dothe "That's like that one time where ____________ did _____________"flashback things. Watching that for an hour got a little tedious.
So, if you're still interested after watching this, enjoy.

    That was unbelievably stupid

Sorry guys, I really like American dad and family guy as well and Icertainly thought that this will be a lot of fun but god 14 one-twominute episodes and they were totally stupid. All movies were justtrivial jokes if any jokes at all!! I OK I agree the episode with thefrog and the princesses began as nice joke but it really ended likecrap - literally! The episode with the cats.... seriously for a twominute and less I almost fell asleep and the ending - a dog with acrane for demolishing - not even funny especially when you see ittrough 2/3 of the episode preparing for the final blow. Super Marioepisode - crappy ending as well although I did not suppose they'd showthe decapitation of the princess. Well thats about it - if you have 10minutes you can watch it but don't expect much.

    Meh

This is a dumping ground for the non-sequitur gags that fail to make itinto the final scripts for Family Guy before every sketch just read thetitle and picture Peter saying "That's nearly as weird as (inserttitle)".Why does Seth think animals acting like people is funny enoughas a joke to stand on its own? The Ducks watching meet the parents is agood example them being Ducks doesn't make the dialogue funny your justexpected to laugh because its ducks (how ceraazy). Oh and the BobMarley police interrogation is probably the most obvious boring jokeI've ever seen told in a non ironic fashion.
In closing its dull, repetitive and pretty much makes me question howmuch Seth Macfarlane is responsible for the truly funny moments ofAmerican Dad and earlier episodes of Family Guy.
